Great as a take out. I order at 3p and pick up when they reopen. I never have to wait long at all! Food is great!
Yes
No they don't take reservations...if it's 2 - 4 people the wait shouldn't be too long
Yes they do take orders to go, but they are a very busy place
No, but they will do take out...
We've gone for bdays and anniversaries. Great food but no specials. Try to call ahead and reserve a table.
Ive not tried it. The combination wonton is fantastic.
Let me start off by saying the food at Ding How is TOP NOTCH. Amazing. The service is just soso which is why I deducted a star. Our waitress forgot to place our order with the kitchen so we sat for 30 minutes watching everyone else get their food and we were HANGRY. Once the order went it the food came quick and was really quite amazing. Some of the very best Asian cuisine we have ever had. Too bad the staff never apologized nor took responsibility for the mishap. We will still go back.
Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. We have had our fair share of sushi, in places all over the world. And in the continental US, Ding How is now officially my favorite. Even compared to some of the most expensive sushi houses in Seattle or Portland, this place shines. Every detail is so precisely correct and perfect...it’s beautiful. The fish is ultra fresh, served up generously, and with obvious skill. Their unagi is, without a doubt, one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. It’s ultra difficult for me to find hotate nigiri here in the states that isn’t chopped and flooded in mayo, but here...it is luscious and perfect. The other food we have tried here is also good, but the sushi absolutely blows us away every time.
Good quality food. No flexibility on menu so choose wisely. Quaint.
Great food, great staff! New favorite sushi place
A hidden gem! We stopped here while travelling back from MT. Ding How has very creative and tasty Asian cuisine (Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese) with an expansive menu that our server helped us explore. The kitchen was excellent, plates were very flavorful and well presented. We will be back!
I ordered savory soy-based lo mein and instead received unseasoned spaghetti noodles. I ordered take out and they messed up my order. Gave me rice which I did not order. I had to wait for correct order. The food is over priced, the wait is long, they are not accommodating and the waitress since bothered to correct order. Second order, I said no onions and guess what.. it had onions. I did enjoy the California rolls, but price went up from $6 to $8. The fortune cookies were stale. One disappointed former customer.
I ordered two items Mongolian beef , walnut shrimp. Should have been no more than $22.20. Go to pick up and it is now $31.31. Brought this to their attention and I was told oh well the website is not updated. The attitude was very inappropriate unprofessional and I will never return.
The food, employee's and atmosphere was fantastic. The place was recommended to us. We live 70 miles away. We were on Spokane Valley, so we decided to give them a try. We love ot. I guess the menu was redone about 3 months ago from what we were told.
BEST! Fish is like butter, melts in your mouth. Quality can't be beat! Kids from Seattle said this was better than any found there.
This place has great customer service. The staff here were extremely friendly, and they're quick to clean tables to get more people in. The wait can be a bit bothersome, because of how few tables there are, and how popular the place is- but there isn't much the restaurant can do about that. Overall, they do a great job to make you feel satisfied.
Lovely little place. We did takeout. Second time and it was ready when promised. Everything was fresh and so delicious. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, lobster roll and wontons.
It was so pleasant being the only family dinning in. Great service that actually followed the COVID guidelines. And of course, the food was excellent! We will definitely go back.
This place used to be so great. After the renovation their food has gone so downhill. The sushi looked like it got ran over. Everyone warned me and they were right. So sad.
This place came highly recommended by a few locals and it lived up to all our expectations. Food was amazing and the cook was so polite. Our waitress was not the best but we didn't care given the quality of the sushi. We will be returning. Thank you so much Alan.
The General Tso's lunch special is terrific! Great egg drop soup, and really good fried rice!
Food was delicious. We came for just sushi and the rolls did not disappoint! They were well made and tasted extremely fresh! Location is VERY small is my only knock for the 4 stars. Only 2 of us were taking up a larger table so it felt like when people were waiting for seats they were just staring at us hoping for us to hurry up so we didn't get to sit and enjoy for as long as we would of liked...
We love this place and eat here at least 2x month. We always bring friends and they all love it as well. A must try place if ever in Liberty Lake!
One of our favorite local restaurants. They've remodeled and now they have more tables. The food is excellent and the staff is very accommodating.
It was delicious! And the service was phenomenal. We had the sushi rolls. Next time we're in the area we're definitely coming back!
Price I will give 2 stars. Food 4.5...pretty good! Above average Chinese food and only option in Liberty Lake. But definitely overpriced.
Why write when you can show...simply amazing.
Yummy sushi! Wish there was more seating but great food 😊
Before covid it was going down hill but after ws good. Price is higher now too!
We ordered tea, server brought 1 small pot with one mug for 3 guests. Promise of bringing 2 more cups, cups evidently weren't available and no hope of them ever being available. She said she would remove the charge for the tea from our bill. Really......
Man this place is always packed! Definitely a good sign of business! The staff is super friendly and they get the tables turned fast, great for a table for two, or a larger party. Food is a great love sitting up at the bar watching the chef make my food and answer all of my questions LOL very helpful definitely will be back but may consider earlier in the day dinner rush on a Friday or Saturday keeps the place packed haha
We love sitting at the sushi bar with Ben making delicate beautiful palette pleasing bites, having the staff check in on you, sharing "life happenings " with the girls who work their fannys off to make your dining experience a real night out...this is why we come to Ding How... every visit is new, refreshing and personal! Thank you for being our favorite!
Extremely disappointed. We used to LOVE ding how when we first moves to Liberty Lake 9 years ago. In that time, the portions got smaller, but the quality was still there. Most recently, they have raised their prices by a couple dollars for each item and the portions are small for the price you are paying. Their Crab and Creamcheese wontons are the best and used to be 8 for $8. They are still $8, but now they give you 5. All their Ala care items have gone from $9-10 and jumped to $11-13 for the same portion. Sad to say, we might never go again because this just seems greedy to me. Very disappointing.
Great vibe, great service, great food. The pearl roll is especially good!
Absolutely delicious! Great food for good value. Picked up during pandemic phase 2 everyone was wearing masks and gloves and the food was great. Kept for a whole week and gave us several wonderful meals! Can't wait to eat there again!
The best sushi around! The crab cream cheese wontons are the best, all around great restaurant, they just need to expand seating is limited
One of the menu items I ordered was Pad Thai and it is super delicious. I will never order Pad Thai anywhere else. Everything in it is fresh and tasty!!!
Hardly ever do I review restaurants . Used to be a good place. Over the years has declined. Decided to give it a chance again a few nights ago. Got 3 meals to go for our group to share. Our meat was old and tasted off , it was expensive so we ate it but still had lots left over as none of the meals were very good . Needless to say we all ended up sick throwing our guts up later as a result of eating our expensive meals. Throwing it out as the common factor in us being sick and others not was this food . Expensive yucky old and food poisoned. Too bad this used to be my favorite place
Hands down best eatery in Liberty Lake. The food and the staff are superior to a lot of what is offered in the area... go out of your way to visit Ding How...you wont regret it!The Smoked Trout on their fresh board is the best you will get anywhere!!
Truely THE best sushi between CDA and Spokane. Unmatched taste and quality. Don't be fooled by it's plaza restaurant location, it's old and cheap deco and interior, and tight seating. There is often huge wait times and for good reason. People wait because they know what they are getting. Amazing sushi!
Ding How is a small vibrant restaurant I have enjoyed for 10 years. Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Sushi. Outstanding food, friendly staff...my "go to" for this kind of food in Spokane Valley/Liberty Lake. Everyone I know who has tried this place has loved it. But call ahead. It is that popular at dinner time. Today was my first lunch there and absolutely nothing to change my mind. Great place!
My wife ate here several years ago and remembers it being exceptionally good food. For the price, we were not impressed and the food taste did not live up to my wife's memories.Overall, I enjoyed my dinner but there are better options around especially if you take the time to drive to Spokane.
Hot garlic beef at Ding How in Liberty Lake/Spokane was legit. Even the beef was tender. Cooked nicely between medium rare and medium. Sauce was flavorful. Space was updated and comfortable. Staff was helpful, conversational, and friendly. Not your average strip mall chinese or teriyaki joint.
Solid sushi. The tempura portioning was a bit ridiculous for two people. Won't order the tempura again. But everything was delicious.
Best place after work on a Friday or a nearby workday luncheon. Full of flavor and not salty or excessive MSG, if any. OMG so delicious! And not expensive.
Very pricey! Weren't given all of change back when rang up! That was her tip then!! She would have gotten more of a tip if she would have.Wont be going back.
Ding How is amazing. I travel around quite a bit for work and love Chinese, Japanese, Thai food etc. Pretty much anything that isn't fast food. Ding How is right up there at the top. The food is amazing and the people serving it are very attentive and friendly. The place is pretty popular so you might be a little packed in their small location, but it will be worth it!
Good food, good lunch special and a busy but friendly staff.
We love ordering food from “Ding How “ over the phone. Service always excellent and food is delicious.Thank you.
We called ahead of time and asked if we should make reservations. They said no we didn’t need reservations. We get there and the place is full there is no room for us and they tell us we have to sit in the outside in the very hot summer day. There was a person there who had ordered takeout and they waited 45 minutes to get their order. Instead of delivering all our food at one time they delivered one dish at a time and took 15 minutes in between dishes to serve the next dish. Sad part is that one person was finished leaving before another person even got started. The food was not that great the service was slow and no apologetic no apologizing for the bad food to slow food and the bad service. It’s really sad because we need a good sushi restaurant in liberty Lake as of yet I have not found it.
Ok, I’ve been going here for several years. It used to be awesome food and prices. Things have changed quite a bit. The sushi is good accept for the fact that a spicy tuna roll is now over $9. The combo meals aren’t even close to what they used to be. They seem to rush the cooking process. Where’s the love. The main sushi chef never smiles and isn’t very customer friendly. If you want to pay more for your sushi than all the other places in town then go here. I would have given them 4 stars but they keep raising their prices.
Finally some actual good Asian food. Not the same ol' chef's special that every Chinese restaurant has and tastes the exact same no matter which one you are at. Thanks ding how. Excellent food.
We love our neighborhood Chinese restaurant DING HOW” Best sashimis and everything else.
If you come here leave time seating is limited. The sushi is phenomenal and the other sides are ok (was less than blown away by the general tsao chicken and chow mein) . I come here for the sushi and service.
Limited seating space so wait times can be a little on the longer side, but the food is absolutely worth it! Everything that I tried was excellent and our server was the nicest. Will be back again!
Best sushi! The place is always busy because of it and the servers are all fantastic!! They are great for take out too!
